Travel

The best option for air travel to Prato is to fly to Florence Airport (airport code FLR). It's a fairly small airport, so not all cities have connections there. Another option is to fly into Pisa Airport (airport code PSA) or Bologna Airport (airport code BLQ), but these airports are much further away from Prato.

Arriving at Florence Airport

There is a shuttle bus leaving Florence Airport every 30 minutes that goes to Prato Central Station, from where you can walk or take a city bus to the hotel or the conference. You can also take a taxi from the airport, which will cost you at least 40-50 euro.

Arriving at Pisa Airport

You can take the train from Pisa Airport to Florence (approx 1 hour 50 minutes), or you can take a shuttle bus (approx 1 hour 10 minutes). From there, you can take the train to Prato Central Station.

Arriving at Bologna Airport

You can take a shuttle bus from Bologna Airport to Bologna Central Station (approx 30 minutes), from where you can take the train to Prato Central Station (approx 1 hour).
